Search, filter, and star documents
Find any document fast: register search, the Advanced search panel, the all-revisions toggle, stars, and global search.
1 min read
A register is only useful if you can find things in it. fluxems gives you quick search, precise filters, and stars for the documents you come back to daily.
Search the register
Type in the search box above the register to filter by name, number, or type as you type. For most lookups this is all you need.
Advanced search
- 1
In the register, open the Advanced search panel.
The Advanced search panel open over the register with filters for discipline, status, and suitability

- 2
Combine filters: discipline, status, suitability, and more. The register narrows as you add them.
- 3
Clear the filters when you are done to get the full register back.
Search history, not just the latest
By default the register shows the latest revision of each document. Turn on Show all document revisions to search across every revision ever issued, superseded ones included.
Star the documents you live in
- 1
Click the star on any document.
- 2
Open the Starred tab to see everything you starred in one list.

Stars are personal: your Starred tab is yours alone.
Search the whole workspace
The Search box in the top bar looks across the whole workspace: projects, tasks, and documents. Use it when you do not know which project a document lives in, or check the Global Document Register for the cross-project view.
Tip
Star the current drawing set at the start of a job. For the months that follow, everything you need is two clicks away.
